Year-end accounts
Your year-end accounts are the foundation for your tax return and give you a clear picture of how your business has done. We prepare accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships, and explain the figures in plain terms.
Limited companies
Every limited company must prepare statutory accounts each year and file them with Companies House and HMRC. We prepare your accounts from your records, make sure they meet the filing requirements, and can prepare your corporation tax return (CT600) at the same time. For most private limited companies, accounts are due at Companies House nine months after the end of the financial year, and we will keep track of the dates for you.
Sole traders and partnerships
If you are self-employed or in a partnership, your accounts are used to work out the taxable profit that goes on your tax return. We prepare your accounts, and for partnerships we can prepare the partnership tax return alongside each partner's Self Assessment return.
How it works
- We agree what we need from you and when.
- You send us your records – bank statements, sales and purchase records, or access to your bookkeeping software.
- We prepare your accounts and contact you with any questions.
- We go through the accounts with you before anything is filed.
- We file the accounts and any related tax returns, and let you know what tax is due and when.
